Pork Stew (Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Soy, & Nut Free!)

I first tried this recipe at my mother-in-law’s house. I modified her recipe a little to fit my dietary needs. It is super tasty! I guess you could call this a family recipe. Makes about 8 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 4 TB oil
  2. 2 lb pork roast meat
  3. 1/2 onion-1 onion (to taste)
  4. 3 medium sized potatoes
  5. 1 pound large carrots
  6. 1 vegan gluten free brown gravy packet
  7. 48 oz beef broth
  8. 34 TB cornstarch dissolved in 4 TB water (Add more for a thicker stew)
  9. 1 can peas undrained
  10. seasonings to taste= salt, pepper, onion powder, & garlic
  1.  

 

Instructions

  1. Season & brown meat, onion, potatoes, and carrots in a oiled pan on medium heat.
  2. Add in the gravy, broth, cornstarch mixture. Simmer on medium-low heat.
  3. Add peas in at the end. Simmer 5 more minutes.
