Turkey Gravy (Dairy, Gluten, Egg, Soy, & Nut Free)

I have always made my gravy from scratch. I get compliments every time it’s made & it’s SUPER easy, even allergy friendly! Give it a try!

  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1/2 cup turkey drippings, OR 4 TB cornstarch/arrowroot powder dissolved in 4 TB water
  2. 1/3 cup any all-purpose gluten free flour (contains xantham gum)
  3. 1 cup oat milk, full fat, OR plant based cream
  4. 3 cups chicken or turkey broth
  5. 1/8 cup organic chicken bouillon paste 
  6. 1 tsp salt
  7. 1/41/2 tsp pepper, to taste
  8. giblets from turkey, puréed or finely chopped, optional

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a pan on medium heat till thick and creamy (about 15 mins)
  2. Serve with turkey or desired side dishes. See my mashed potatoes recipe here.
