Vegan Cream Brûlée
This was my all time favorite dessert to order when at a fancy restaurant and now I can enjoy making cream brulee at my own home. Makes 4 6oz. servings.

Ingredients

- 2 (15oz) cans full-fat coconut milk
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 tsp sugar for topping (you can use coconut sugar too for a healthier option)
Instructions
- Whisk all the ingredients together till smooth in a large pot.
- Heat the pot on medium low temperature till the mixture thickens considerably, but does not boil. Mix every now and then as to not burn the cream.
- Cool in a fridge 3-8 hours in small wide mouth bowls.
- Sprinkle 1-2 tsp of sugar on each serving of brûlée right before serving.
- Use a blow torch to caramelize tops.
