Vegan Orange Creamsicle
This vegan orange creamsicle is a refreshing, dairy-free treat made with real orange juice and plant-based coconut milk. It’s naturally sweetened, creamy, and bursting with citrus flavor—like a plant-based take on a classic creamsicle.
History of Popsicles
The popsicle was invented by accident in 1905 by an 11-year-old boy named Frank Epperson in Oakland, California. He left a cup of powdered soda, water, and a stirring stick on his porch overnight, and it froze. Years later, in 1923, he patented the idea and began selling it as the “Epsicle”, which his children later dubbed the “Popsicle.”
The Popsicle became popular during the Great Depression as an affordable treat and was eventually acquired by major food companies. Since then, it has evolved into countless flavors, including vegan and fruit-based options, but it all started with a happy accident and a cold night.
