How to Make Lamb Gyros

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Then, bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 165°F.

  • 1 lamb leg processed into a fine paste OR 4 lbs. ground lamb
  • 1/2 onion pureed and liquid squeezed out with a paper towl, OR 1/2 TB onion powder
  • 2 TB garlic powder
  • 2 TB cumin
  • 1.5 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 TB olive oil
  • handful baby tomatoes halved per one serving
  • handful of fresh spinach per one serving
  • tortillas or pitas
  • small handful shredded romaine lettuce
  • avocado paste

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the ground lamb, pureed onion, and seasonings together.
